Impact
The impact of our work can be illustrated through the example of the transformation of the Market Hall in Nykøbing Falster.
Three years ago, when we became involved, the area was abandoned, overlooked, and without a clear future. Through a nine-month engagement process involving residents, and local stakeholders, we identified the functions, activities, and communities needed to restore the building’s relevance within the urban fabric.
That process marked the beginning of a new narrative. One that attracted energy, commitment, and new life to the area. Today, the Market Hall stands as one of the city’s most vibrant and popular gathering places.
Social Impact
QUALITY OF LIFE
We support the formation of new relationships across different groups in the local community. We build trust and collective confidence in the project amongst citizens, investors, and public authorities.
ATTRACTIVENESS.
We develop vibrant places which foster local pride, a strong sense of belonging, and attract new residents, workplaces and external investors.
Economic Impact
BOOST TO THE LOCAL ECONOMY.
We create new employment opportunities for local residents. The increasing economic activity in the area benefits local entrepreneurs, businesses and cultural institutions.
HIGHER R.O.I.
Municipalities, investors, foundations, and real estate developers gain greater value from their investments as the area gets used and becomes more attractive.
Climate Impact
PRESERVING EXSISTING BUILDING.
The climate wins when we decide to reuse and take care for existing buildings instead of demolishing them and building new ones.
Our involvement in the Market Hall in Nykøbing Falster didn’t just bring new life to the area. It also inspired the preservation of nearby buildings, as more stakeholders now want to use the area.
